Starry Nights

When I was a student at Marymount Manhattan College in (you guessed it) Manhattan, I was blessed with a very beautiful, very Italin rooommate. (I was also cursed with THE WORLD'S WORST suitemate- she lied to your face, stole your makeup, beauty products and food, then searched through your personal belongings when you were at class. But that's another terribly unpleasant story.) Back to the beautiful, Italain Valentina, she always had perfect makeup, cashmere sweaters, and leather boots, and she always smelled wonderful. What did she credit her irresistible smell to? L'Eau d'Issey. A fresh floral fragrance with warm undertones of lotus, freesia, cyclamen, rose water, peonies, carnation, white lillies, precious woods, osmanthus, tuberose, with hints of amberseed and musk. My last Birthday (November 16), my boyfriend bought me everything on my Sephora wishlist, including the L'Eau d' Issey Starry Nights Gift Set ($65). It included a 1.6 oz. Eau de Toilette Spray (which is almost gone a year later) and a 2.5 oz. Moisturizing Body Lotion in a silver, winter-themed gift box. Molto Bello!
