Review: In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon

I have to admit that when celebrities come out with fragrances, I cringe. I have not once yet had the desire to smell like:
-Avril Lavigne
-Beyonce
-Britney Spears
-Celine Dion
-Cher
-Christina Aguilera
-Mariah Carey
-Jessica Simpson
-Sarah Jessica Parker
-Shania Twain
-Hilary Duff
-Mary Kate or Ashley Olsen
-Pamela Anderson
-Paris Hilton
-Danielle Steele
-Kate Moss
-Kimora Lee Simmons

You can see what I mean. Everyone has one. I do enjoy Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. perfumes, so I guess you could say I'm a little bit prejudiced. I pretty much immediately dismiss any celebrity fragrance. So maybe I should try some more. Maybe they're not all so bad.

Anyway, it helped I think that I like Reese Witherspoon. And the bottle is pretty cool looking. The shape of it is unique and the top is a flower - in bl0om. The artsy shape was inspired by her grandmother's perfume bottles that sat on her dresser. (I have to say, I LOVE that too. I have a large mirrored perfume tray sitting on mine. It's a great way to display your scents. One day I'll take a picture.)

Top Notes:
Georgia Peach Tea Leaves, Crisp Greens

Heart Notes:
Star Gardenia, Magical Magnolia, Night Blossoming Jasmine

Base Notes:
Cashmere Woods, Hypnotic Florals, Amber Wood Crystals

In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon Fragrance Collection:
-Eau de Parfum ($34.00, 1.7 fl. oz.)
-Limited Edition Parfum ($59.00, 1 fl. oz.)
-Body Mist ($15.00, 3.4 fl. oz.)
-Body Lotion ($15.00, 7 fl. oz.)
-Shower Gel ($15.00, 7 fl. oz.)

Overall I was pleasantly surprised. I really like white flowers though. Usually with fragrances, there's some element that I dislike, but not with this. It's sophisticated, not too sweet, perfect for everyday. It's reasonably priced but you have to get it from an Avon representative. I don't have one. I know I could get one, but... there's something I like about being able to go to a store and buy it myself.

Check out the video where Reese talks about it.
