Review: Miss Dior Cherie Fragrance Set

Miss Dior Cherie is a modern interpretation of the original Miss Dior fragrance. I am unfamiliar with that scent, but this one is young, girly and fresh. Top notes of tangerine and strawberry add fruitiness to a floral base of violette and pink jasmine. The dry down is musky and woody with a bit of patchouli. I can definitely see a teenager wearing this. It's a little too fruity for me at the beginning, but it dries down to a lovely musky floral. And how could you not love the bottle? Tres chic! The Miss Dior Cherie Set ($79) is available at Sephora. It includes a 1.7 oz. Eau de Parfum Spray, 1.7 oz. Moisturizing Perfumed Shower Gel, 1.7 oz. Perfumed Body Moisturizer and a black velvet clutch with gold trim. I'd be lying if I said I didn't do it for the clutch. It's purrrty. I think it will be my new purse makeup bag. Note that under the Dior label it says "Parfums," in case you are wondering. Which is why I would be hesitant to carry it as a purse. It's cute anyway, though. Great value. For $4 more than the regular single perfume, you get a moisturizer, shower gel and clutch. I'm 26 and I love this scent, but I'm not sure how older people would feel about it. I wore it the other day and my co-worker Jess said, "Kyle, what perfume are you wearing? It smells as good as shit." LOL.

face candy grade: A+
