Muface Daily Moisturizing Complex

It is no secret that I have somewhat of an obsession with oils. I'm not sure why, I guess maybe because I was a little late to the whole "oil" party and love the idea of using a liquid instead of a cream or lotion.

I LOVE Shu Uemura's Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil for my hair. I have also been known to douse my scalp in warm coconut oil, overnight, to get rid of dandruff. La Roche-Posay's Lipikar Oil and Neutrogena's Body Oil are absolute delights to use on the body and in the bathtub. My favorite face oils include Liz Earle's Superskin Concentrate and MAC's Grapefruit and Chamomile Care Blends Essential Oil.

Now added to that list is Muface Daily Moisturizing Complex ($45). It is 100% natural and helps restore dull skin, soothe stressed or dehydrated skin, protect against free radicals and overall create a smoother complexion. Ingredients are: Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Squalane, Oat Extract, Neem Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Soybean Seed Extract, Honey Extract, Barley Extract, Turmeric Extract, Bisabolol and Rose Gernaium Oil.

At $45/oz., it's a bit expensive, but the fact that the ingredients are all natural adds a sense of comfort since most of the time you don't even know what half the ingredients are on skincare products. The formula will solidify if stored below room temperature but all you have to do to bring it back to its liquid state is run some hot water over the bottle (with the cap on). My main issue with this product is the scent. It's the rose geranium oil for sure. At first I was extremely put off by it, but over time it's grown on me. I don't mind it nearly as much as I did.
