Neutrogena Battles Dry Skin

Neutrogena's Body Oil ($9.99 for 8.5 oz.) is one of my favorites. The light sesame oil is lightweight, absorbs quickly and is great in the bath or rubbed on damp skin after a shower. It's available in original and fragrance-free. I prefer the fragrance-free, but the original is not overly scented. This is a true bathroom staple. I've used it for years. My husband takes lots of baths. He likes to pour some oil in so his skin doesn't get dried out.

The Norwegian Formula Hand Cream ($4.99) is a long-lasting cream that comes out of the tube like a thick balm. It's very moisturizing so a little bit goes a long way. I apply about a dime sized amount to both of my hands, making sure to concentrate on my cuticles, right before bed. I wake up to baby soft hands, no dryness, cracking or hang nails! One night before bed I was noticing how disgustingly rough and chapped the heels of my feet were and I smeared some of this on them. I woke up and they were super soft! At $4.99 it's a true bargain. Win!

I've been a long time fan of the Lip Moisturizer ($2.99). It's PABA and fragrance free and its main ingredient is Castor Seed Oil. The balm itself is not very waxy, so it's more likely to wear off quickly. I like this because in a pinch I can use it to moisturize my nose or cuticles. Plus the fact that it's not overly girly in fragrance and packaging, men will be more willing to wear it. Overall I like it because it's very basic and no frills. It gets the job done.

The new Moisture Wrap Body Lotion ($7.99) claims to wrap your skin with a combination of moisturizers and hold more moisturization at the end of the day than Eucerin Original Lotion.  I can be a little picky with my body lotions, because I prefer to use them right before bed and I don't want to feel greasy or slimy when I climb under the sheets. This liquidy formula sinks right into your skin and leaves behind nothing. You can't even feel it after you rub it in. Your skin is simply nicely plumped and dewy. I love it. It's also unscented, which I prefer.

My favorite ways to get the most out of your skincare include:
-Apply body oil on damp skin to lock in moisture.
-Top body oil with body lotion or cream.
-Mix equal parts body oil and body lotion/cream and apply to damp skin.
