Face Candy Fashion: Warby Parker Eye Wear

My license has been expired since my birthday. Which is November 16th. A vision check was overdue. I stumbled upon a website called

Every pair of glasses on their site is $95, including lenses.

They also have a really cool take home/try on program. You pick 5 frames that you like the best and think might look good on you. Then they will ship you all 5 pairs and you can try them on in the comfort of your home. This was one of the main selling points for me as I didn't want to have to go to a store.

Once you decide which ones you want, write down which ones you want and send them all back. Shipping is easy, they include prepaid postage, slap it on the box and drop it in a UPS drop box within 5 days.

All you have to do now is go to the site, fill your prescripton info in and before you know if you'll have your glasses. They can expedite shipping to you if needed for an extra $20, I did. I think I ordered mine on Friday and I received them yesterday (Tuesday) which is really fast.

The coolest thing about this label is not the amazingly low price of $95/pair or the super fast shipping, it's the fact that for each pair you buy, they give a pair to someone in need.

As of now, they only feature regular eye glasses but in late June, sunglasses will be available with or without prescription lenses. I love me some Marc Jacobs sunnies, but these babies are calling my name.

face candy grade: A+
