Dr.Jart+ Beauty Balms

I got to try the 2 new BB Creams from Dr.Jart+ over my vacation.
Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 PA+++ ($39, left) - A moisturizer, sunscreen and serum in one that is meant to be used under makeup. Better for pink undertones. This is a color that is more common in Asian BB creams because its meant to whiten and brighten.
Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++ ($32, right) - A moisturizer, sunscreen and serum made with 50% water. Tiny water droplets appear before being quickly absorbed into the skin. Leans more yellow.
Once they are blended out I feel like the color adjusts a little bit to your skin. I'm a MAC NC 25 and both creams give me a kind of porcelain complexion, which is what they are meant to do. Between the two, I would probably pick the Water Fuse BB because I like the technology of it, the color is more flattering and you get 1.7 oz for $32 vs 1.4 oz for $39. Water Fuse provides a dewy look and the other one is more matte. In the promo photo, the green one looks a lot bigger than the other one but they are nearly the same size. Both creams wear very well, they don't melt off like some tinted moisturizers or foundations but they don't feel heavy on the skin either. I'd say the biggest problem would be the color selection as they won't match everyone. I recommend trying it on at Sephora before buying it. These are a great introduction to BB creams for America.
