Face Candy Fashion: My Favorite Summer Dress

As you may or may not know, I have a slight obsession with Tart Collections. If I was super rich, I'd buy the ENTIRE collection every season. I love literally everything from them. I am short, 4'9" to be exact, so finding a maxi dress that I did not need to hem was a bit daunting. I was beyond thrilled to find the Tart Raquel Dress ($246) at Ideeli.com for $70. As you can see on the model, it hits her mid shin. On me, it's floor length. I believe that the length from shoulder to hem is 51 inches.

$70 is on the high side, but compared to what it costs retail you're definitely getting a deal. Again, I 100% adore these dresses. They are sexy, very flattering for petites, comfortable and durable. The fabric is thick and it doesn't wrinkle which makes them perfect for traveling.  I really swear by them. I was looking last night and I have 8!

I didn't like the lace-up style back in the photos, but in real life it's kind of cute. I got this dress in green. I wish I had gotten it in black too. If you're petite, I definitely recommend. On the Tart site the only color available is white. :( Boo. I want more.

Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill in Lust Red

When I saw this online, I knew I had to have it. There are 17 colors of Giorgio Armani's Eyes To Kill Intense ($32). It is described as a hybrid texture, neither cream nor powder. They claim to wear for 24 hours, be crease proof, flake proof, water proof and sweat proof.

This is not your ordinary black shadow. The red glitter is what makes the color sparkle in the light. I do not recommend using a fluffy brush to apply. I suggest using either your fingers to pat it on or I personally use Alima Pure's #31 Fine Liner/Concealer Brush ($12) damp. Wet, this shadow is a show stopper. Dry- it is too, but wet really brings out the depth. There is minimum fall out, if any. I have sensitive eyes and if the glitter's too chunky, I end up rubbing them all night. I can't even tell that I'm wearing this one.

The formula is truly unique. I don't have anything else like it. I do not get anywhere near 24 hours of wear, but with a primer I find it lasts all day and through the night, which is like 10 hours. It pretty much stays where you want it to. I dislike the $32 price tag, but this is a luxury brand. It doesn't make me want #3 Purpura any less, it just reminds me that I need to save my $.

TotalBeauty.com now has daily beauty deals. Today's deal is 50% OFF any Ellis Faas Lip Product. (Limit one per person. Vouchers expire on September 23, 2011). Ellis Faas lippies are not wallet friendly at $35 each. $17.50 is a bit easier to swallow. This offer will be available for another 2 days. Click here to buy. The entire collection is made of colors that naturally exist in the human body. Each product is fluid and fits into a bullet like pen. I love the idea of having your entire makeup bag in a slim pencil case with 5 of these bullet pens.

There are 3 textures: Creamy, Milky and Glazed.
-Creamy- For classic lipstick definition and long-wearing coverage.
-Milky- For a more fluid and translucent appearance.
-Glazed- For an ultra-wet, long-lasting splash of color that combines transparency and intensity.
The only lip color that comes in all 3 textures is Ellis Red L101, L201 and L301. It is a true blood red that is universal and versatile and flattering on all women.

Disclosure: If you purchase through my link I will receive $5 in Total Beauty Bucks.
