Review: Kat Von D - Everlasting Liquid Love Lipstick

I finally recently admitted to myself that I dont' really like lip gloss. Despite owning waaaay too much of it, I don't like shiny and I certainly don't like to re-apply every 5 seconds. I prefer matte. Matte generally stays where you put it. Upon this realization, I purchased Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ($19 at Sephora). For the record, I dislike Kat Von D and think she's totally fug.

I picked up Berlin, which is supposed to be a "Warm Rose" but it's definitely hot pink. It starts out okay. Application is easy and it feels comfortable, not drying, on lips. I wore it at work one day, starting in the morning. I checked it 3 hours later and I was completely embarrassed to have a huge hot pink ring around my mouth! I ran to the bathroom and used soap and lotion to remove it.

This is going straight in the garbage, where it belongs. I should have known better than to purchase from this line. Very, very disappointing.

If I ever have the displeasure of seeing Kat Von D in real life, I will demand my money back.
