Summer Must: Illamasqua Cream Pigments

One of my new summer favorites is Illamasqua Cream Pigment ($26), available at Sephora. Hollow (top) is described as Toffee, it has a bit of a grey cast to it. I wanted to use it as a contour, but my skin tone is too similar. Instead I use it on my eyes as a base. Delirium (bottom) is Rose Taupe, it has pink and purple shades in it. If you mix a tiny bit of Delirium into the Hollow it creates a nice contouring cream for your cheeks. Pixiwoo recommends this, I think.

These creams are water-resistant. They are great as bases for eyes. They don't crease and without primer, they help my eyeliner and powder shadow stay on all day. Similar in theory to MUFE Aqua Cream, these are a lot drier and that texture allows you to apply thin layers. I think they're also easier to blend than Aqua Creams. These won't sweat off or disappear so they're perfect for hot weather. $26 is a bit much, but they will last you forever. I'm always afraid the lid is going to pop off but it hasn't yet.
